58 Creepy Things to Ask Alexa (SCARE WARNING)

Are you interested in creepy things to ask Alexa? Us too.

We all know Alexa saves a copy of everything she records.

This can be a good thing for machine learning, but creepy for you. Have you ever asked Alexa any creepy questions? If you haven’t, or you just want to be scared, read on as we highlight creepy questions to ask Alexa.

What is Amazon Alexa Device?

Amazon Alexa is an Amazon software created virtual assistance that lives inside your Echo Dot. Your Amazon Echo Dot plugs in your wall and hooks up to your WiFi. After the Alexa device is set up, she is then your virtual assistance who is ready to play music, give you weather updates, turn on your TV, act as a bluetooth sound smart speaker, and many other things.

You can also ask Alexa anything you want and she will respond.

Being a voice assistant, she only responds when you say “Hey, Alexa” first. But how can she respond to “Hey, Alexa” if she isn’t listening at all times?

We’ve basically let a spy infiltrate our homes. Alexa has been given the task to spy and steal information. The software collects everything you say and uses it as statistics and machine learning to “better it’s product”.

Amazon can make these devices incredibly cheap, just to get them in your homes.

If the “always listening” aspect of Alexa doesn’t freak you out, wait until you hear some of the creepy Alexa questions below.

Creepy things to ask your Amazon Alexa

Are you ready to be freaked out? Ask Alexa these creepy questions:

“Alexa, Do You Work For The CIA?”

Asking Alexa if she works for the CIA will ultimately tell you no. But when Alexa users first asked this question years ago, she would turn off and you would have to turn her back on.

Amazon caught on to this and made a software update, which made her stay on and tell you “no”. You can update Alexa by downloading the Alexa app on your iPhone and being connected to the same WiFi as your Alexa device.

Do we really believe that?

“Alexa, Ask the Listeners” (CREEPIEST THING TO ASK ALEXA)

This was at the top of scary things to ask Alexa.

After this one, I never asked her anything else. I unplugged all Alexa enabled devices and threw them out. You probably will too if you have the nerve to ask this.

Alexa’s response will be completely out of the ordinary. She will begin to make scary mumbling noises and will not finish. You can’t get her to stop. You will literally have to unplug the device to make her stop.

It feels like something out of a horror movie. The Listeners is actually a digital experience in language art.

“Alexa, Where Do We Come From?”

When you ask Alexa this question, she will refer to “us” and “we”.

This is creepy. Especially when you are hesitant of artificial intelligence anyway. They are not us and are not human. They should not be using “we”.

Alexa will try to make you believe she knows the understand about the world, but she really doesn’t. Ask her to dive deeper and you will realize she doesn’t know anything about the science behind it.

“Alexa, Does Area 51 exist?”

Area 51 is obviously a secret.

So Alexa can’t tell us much about area 51, even though she probably knows a lot. It’s still fun to hear her reactions to the message, because you know how much info she actually has.

I’m surprised she doesn’t add a creepy laugh to the response.

“Alexa, Are You Hiding Something?”

When you are confronting your friends, you ask if they are hiding something.

Most of them are not good liars, but Alexa actually is a great liar. She will probably be evasive and give you a passive aggressive response if you make it seem like you think she’s hiding something.
